All of Lou’s novels follow the coming-of-age adventures and exploits of his protagonist and alter ego, Jeffrey Vetch, as he grows up in the affluent suburbs on the North Shore of Chicago, Illinois. While Jeff and his adventures are pure fiction, many stories have been inspired by actual events.
